I Dream of Falafel Identity
We are not ones to analyze dreams, but if you dream of falafel, do we have the place for you - literally. Approached to create an identity for an upstart Mediterranean quick serve in downtown Chicago, I Dream of Falafel was born. Designing an identity with playful elements puffed out of a Hooka was our mission, we chose to accept it. You too can dream.
Le Grand Comptoir Banners
Airport food. Wait! Come back, it's okay. Houston's Terminal C has a new French Bistro that we think you will love. Yes, French Bistro - and Wine Bar. You see, our client, SSP America is succeeding in bringing fabulous fare and atmosphere to airports. We were delighted to create these 6' banners beckoning weary travelers to indulge in something wonderful at - yes, you're reading this right - the airport.
Omega & Associates Identity
Omega & Associates, a mid-sized civil and construction engineering firm, needed a logo and identity. We said, "Sure thing!" Wait, what do you do? Then they showed us an abundance of impressive photography featuring past projects. Amazing construction, bridges, roads, highways... basically they are the city's go to when something needs to be done well! We were proud to create a logo mirroring their architectural background and strength.
Old Glory Bar-B-Que Menu
In the heart of DC's Georgetown lies Old Glory Bar-B-Que Not only does it capture all the unique flavors of the pit and backyard cooks across our great United States, but does so with a down home persona all its own! We had to capture that in a sturdy, take along menu that informs you of specials while it stands up to threat of toppled BBQ sauce.
Hotel Allegro Room Service Menu
The Hotel Allegro in downtown Chicago is a swanky, hip, boutique hotel from the Kimpton Group. When asked to develop a room service menu, we wanted to make sure we captured the mood, color and feel. We matched the palette to the property, added juicy photography and a memorable die cut - and it was off to the races! er, um, rooms!
Delicatessen Meyer Identity
Delicatessen Meyer is a half century old German grocer in the heart of Chicago's Lincoln Square. When purchased by our client, Hans Liebl, (of Hans' All Natural Sausages) a new identity was needed. A new-old identity. Using illustrations and typefaces inspired by ancient German woodcut prints, and incorporating the familiar red checkered pattern of the deli's shopping bags, we designed a logo and identity package that managed to be fresh, sleek and new while retaining the atmosphere of Europe's centuries-old traditions and cultures.
Big Kahuna Cantina Menu
It's bad enough working on menus for new restaurants... but when you work on them before lunch, and everything sounds so good... The lush and tropical, spicy and sultry but all the while tongue in cheek dishes and dish at Big Kahuna Cantina kept us creative and colorful. The project was fun, and the fusion behind the concept kept us challenged - and hungry.
Wave Restaurant Menus
A modern vibe and a fresh take on dining... Wave Restaurant inside Chicago's W Hotel isn't your average hotel dining! It is a destination with fabulous dishes and beautiful atmosphere. We were given the challenge to come up with a menu to match the creativity of the chef and the strength of the surroundings. Combining a durable menu board with a frosty, sexy paper stock and layout, we rode that Wave. Oh yes we did.
Fin Identity
The whole kit and caboodle. Our longstanding client, CRC was creating a new seafood concept and needed, well, everything. We were happy to provide the logo, look, identity, site, menus and more for fin. We stopped short of oyster shucking.
