A fusion of Mexican and Polynesian cuisines, Big Kahuna Cantina made a splash at Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Creating their tagline, "Surf the Harbor!" fathead captured the tiki-surf-Spanish theme and rode that wave with their site.
ENAZ Product Labels
ENAZ, a boutique in Highland Park, needed labels for their range of hand-mixed bath and body products. As a small local business, they weren't in a position to print multiple runs of many different sizes of labels, so they brought us an interesting challenge: to keep costs as low as possible, design a universal label, one that would fit a wide variety of products, from the slender 1/3 ounce essential oil rollette to the 16 ounce body lotion bottles and everything in between.
ENAZ Gift Baskets
ENAZ, a boutique in Highland Park, asked us to design an eye-catching and elegant label for their oils and lotions gift baskets. We based the illustration and design on antique vintage packaging from the 1920s and 1930s.

For eurofurniture.com, EFW's online and mail order presence, a broader audience had to be captured while keeping the flavor of their modern classic/contemporary market. Regional ads in national publications such as Metropolitan Home has suited them well.
European Furniture Warehouse local ad campaign
EFW is a longstanding client with a great Chicago history and location. Offering contemporary pieces and modern classic reproductions, their local campaign targets this niche buyer demographic. Media buys in publications such as Chicago Tribune Magazine, keep their demo covered.

Epic Burger, the brainchild of David Friedman (Blackhawk Lodge) is an all-natural, no chemicals added twist on the classic American burger joint. Says David: “the emphasis is on all-natural meat and no artificial preservatives or artificial ingredients.” Having had their concept defined by VSA, they came to us to execute production and the day-to-day operation of their website and direct e-mail campaign.

Our redesign of their site focused strongly on making their site brighter, more legible and more accessible to their average user.
